We are very happy to share our new paper on the impact of an anoxic desulfurization process on the composition of the purified biogas.
Interestingly, methanotrophs were found in the desulfurization bioreactor, however, a slight CO2 absorption led to a proportional CH4 enrichment in the purified biogas. Then pH is a key factor for the operation of anoxic desulfurization technologies.
It was also a nice collaboration with our colleagues Martín Ramírez and Domingo Cantero from the University of Cadiz.
