Our new paper in Chemical Engineering Journal addresses the potential of TPPBs for the treatment of styrene-laden air. For the first time, industrial-grade silicone oil was tested in a 3rd Generation TPPB operated as a biotricklign filter. Very interesting conclusions were reached towards the design of full-scale TPPBs for air pollution control.
